FORSYTH Leona Clark moved to Forsyth in 1917 and operated Tip Top Gift Shop with her sister, Gladys Pemberton from 1947-1959. For many years she worked in Rosebud County Clerk of Courts office and County Extension Office. In 1960 she moved to Colorado Springs.
Mrs. Clark, 78, died Sunday in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was a member of Forsyth Federated Church and enjoyed making braided rugs. Born in Corning, Iowa, October 4, 1904, she was a daughter of Frank D. and Letha Barker Lawrence. On April 30, 1927, she married Ralph Lundahl in Forsyth; h died in 1930. In 1942 she married Alfred M. Clark, who died in 1970.
Survivors include a son Donald Lundahl of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a step daughter, Mrs. Anna Gallagher of Mount Lake Terrace, Washington; two sisters, Gladys Pemberton of Forsyth and Charlotte Christmas of Miles City; a brother Clark Lawrence, of Cody, Wyoming, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Beals Chapel with burial in Forsyth Cemetery.
