Arthur F. McDougall
Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30pm at the Haylock-O'Hara Funeral Home in Maquoketa for Arthur F. McDougall, 77, of Maquoketa. Mr. McDougall died Friday afternoon at his home.
The Rev. James Ellison of the Bellevue Presbyterian Church officiated at the services, with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery in DeWitt.
Arthur McDougall was born on August 13, 1893 at Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of John and Delphine Fowler McDougall. On August 23, 1952, he married Dorothy Smith at Ann Arbor, Michigan. For several years he was the General Motors plant security guard at Ann Arbor.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Miss Delphine McDougall, of Schnectady, Conn.; one son, the Rev. Robert McDougall of Highland Park, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Leslie Davis of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Walter of Flagstaff, AZ.; Grover of Saline, Mich.; and John of Mesa, AZ.; and two grandchildren.
