Hazel E. Myers, 86, of 381 Kerrsville Road, Carlisle, died Thursday, June 23, 2005 in the Thornwald Home.
Born on October 27, 1918 in Cumberland County, PA, she was the daughter of Ira and Cleo Darr Barrick and the widow of Edgar Myers.
Hazel attended the Oak Flat School, Newville. She was retired from Kinney Shoe Company with 25 years of service and also owned and operated a family farm. She was a member of the McClures Gap Church of God, Newville.
Surviving are a son, Donald I. Myers of Carlisle; three sisters, Edith Kuhn of Carlisle, Freda Zeigler of New Kingstown, and Ada Boldosser of Carlisle; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Myers; sister, Gladys Gordon and brother, Clair Barrick.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. Burial will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville, PA.
