ELIZABETH MARSH is given as the daughter of Samuel Marsh and unknown wife in family records.[1] Her date of birth and place of birth are unknown.

She married 12 November 1766 at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield, Westfield Township, Essex County (now Union County), New Jersey to Jeremiah Mills.[2]

The name of Jeremiah Mills was found among the records of the Scotch Plains Baptist Church in Scotch Plains, Union County, New Jersey as a communicant member. [3]

Other Mills family members were also communicant members and are buried in this cemetery. Samuel Marsh Mills, son of Jeremiah and Elizabeth is buried in this cemetery. It is believed at this time that Jeremiah and Elizabeth are also buried in this cemetery, although no burial record or gravestone has been located for neither one at this time.

Jeremiah and Elizabeth are given as the parents of these children: Jeremiah (Jr.) b 1769; John Mills b 1771; Samuel Marsh Mills b 1774; & David Daniel Mills b 1775. There may have been others.
