Harry was the son of Jeremiah and Rebecca Peters from Pennsylvania with siblings: Mary, Rebecca, William, Tilman, Ann, and Henry. Harry was the youngest child. He was a stone worker. There was a marriage notice for Harris Peters and Anna McConoway on 28 January 1865 in Wood County.
