Ms. Linda McCormick, age 61, passed on Tuesday, July 28, 2011, at the Hamilton Park Rehabilitation Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was a Bulloch County native, having resided in Jersey City, New Jersey, for many years. She retired from the United States Postal Service of Kearney, New Jersey. She was a 1967 graduate of William James High School.
She is survived by one son, Jason McCormick of Newark, N.J.; two sisters, Frances (Sabur) Bismillah of Savannah, Ga., and Patty Hendrix of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Ms. Linda McCormick will be Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro, Ga., with Pastor Daryl S. Anderson officiating. Interment will be held in Eastside Cemetery, East Olliff Street, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel is in charge of services.
