Eve Roberson, a retired registered nurse at Charity Hospital, died Sunday at Vista Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Louisville [sic Lewisville], Texas. She was 93.

Ms. Roberson was born in Vacherie, lived in New Orleans for many years and lived in The Colony, Texas. She was a graduate of the Charity Hospital School of Nursing. She worked in a military hospital in Virginia during World War II. She taught at Charity Hospital School of Nursing and retired as a supervisor in the Emergency Department. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles Roberson; three sisters, Germaine, Marie and Sophie; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass will be said today at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 4640 Canal St. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.

Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
