Mrs. Sophie Madeline Clardy, age 92 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield.
Born Saturday, June 16, 1917 in Vacherie, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Lezin Kliebert and the late Amelie Oubre Kliebert. She was the wife of the late Willie Eugene Clardy. Mrs. Clardy was also preceded in death by two sons, O'Neil and Lloyd Folse..
Surviving are sons, Neil Folse and wife Amy of Marrero, LA, Jerry Folse and wife Renelle of Luling, LA and Carl Folse and wife Carol of Marrero, LA, daughters, Mary Gibbs of Natchitoches, LA, Nancy Burton of Mangum, LA and Linda Smith and husband Mike of Winnfield, LA, sisters, Germaine Scionaux of Vacherie, LA and Marie Fouret of New Orleans, LA, Daughters-in-law, Diane and Jean Folse, 21 Grandchildren, and 36 Grandchildren.
A Rosary will be conducted for Mrs. Clardy on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Southern Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Garden Of Memories, Winnfield, LA.
Barry Folse, Kevin Folse, Shane Kraemer, Carl Folse, Jerry Folse, and Neil Folse will serve as pallbearers.
