LOCAL WOMAN DIES TODAY
Mrs. Addenda Retherford, 87, 631 N. East St. succumbed 7:55 a.m. today at Tipton County Hospital, she had been hospitalized after suffering a fall several days ago. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Pritchard Funeral Home-Windfall with Rev. Thomas Davis officiating, burial will be made in Brookside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday.
Born Oct. 7, 1882 in Curtisville, the deceased was one of 8 children of Francis and Sarah Frazee Goodwin. She married William Retherford Nov. 17, 1900, who preceded her in death. They were parents of six children. She lived west of Windfall until 1952 when she moved to Muncie then to Tipton in 1962.
Surviving children are;
Mrs. Lester (Edna) Amsbury
Mrs. Helen Estherington, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Claude Retherford
Russell Retherford
Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
