Lionel was born September 29, 1939 in Moyers, Oklahoma the son of Morris Edgar and Jewell (Fish) Parker. He graduated from Moyers High School and served in the United States Army until he received his honorable discharge. He later attended college and earned an associates degree. Lionel worked for the State of Oklahoma in the Department of Transportation Division as a liason representative until his retirement. He married Mary Ann Creacy on August 25, 1990 in Talihina, Oklahoma. Lionel enjoyed fishing and gardening but most of all he enjoyed joking around with his family and friends. He is Survived by his Wife, Mary Ann Parker, of the home; Son and Daughter-in-law, Mitchell Lynn and Sara Parker of Crowder, Oklahoma; Step-Daughter and her husband, Toni Brantley and Ty Cobb of Watauga, Texas; Sisters and Brother-in-law, Wanda Waller of Grand Prarie, Texas, Gwendolyn and W.A. Dillon of Mesquite, Texas, Joy Mathis of Ozark, Alabama; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Jerry and Jean Creacy of Hugo, Oklahoma; 7 Grandchildren, Daylon Parker, Briley Parker, Jourdyn Parker, Brittanee Cobb,Justin Brantley, Brian Brantley and A.J. Cobb; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Jewell Parker, 2 brothers, Mack Parker and Darrell Parker, and a sister, Dorothy Lawing. Active Pallbearers str Eldon Brantley, Justin Brantley, Newman Fry, Daylon Parker, Jeff Dillon, Richard Waller. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening at Bishop Funeral Service. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Charles Saviors officiating.
