Wanda Jean Parker Waller September 19, 1931 – July 25, 2017 Wanda Jean Parker Waller was born in Darwin, Oklahoma to Morris Edgar Parker and Jewell Fish Parker on September 19, 1931. She grew up in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma including the communities of Darwin, Miller, Antlers, and Finley. Mrs. Waller survived the Antlers tornado in April 1945 in which her parents perished. She went to live with her grandparents Ed and Doshie Fish. In late 1950, she moved to Big Sandy, Texas to work in her cousin's Café. There, she met the love of her life, Willis Arlon "Buddy" Waller. They married January 28, 1951 in Longview, Texas. They settled in Grand Prairie, Texas where Buddy worked in the aerospace industry. She and Buddy had six children. She was active in PTA and was honored as a Texas Lifetime Member. Mrs. Waller retired from Grand Prairie Independent School District Food Services and was a longtime member of Bowles Memorial Baptist Church. She loved God, her family, and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Norma Jean Waller, son David Arlon Waller, and siblings Mack Allen Parker, Dorothy Yvonne Parker Lawing, Lionel Doris Parker, and Morris Darrell Parker. Also, son-in-law Larry Wayne Ellison and daughter-in-law Terri Diane Thomason Waller. Mrs. Waller is survived by her children: Carol Waller Ellison, Donna Waller, William Waller and wife Sara, and Richard Waller, six grandsons: Clint Ellison, Paul Ellison, Parker Waller, Jordan Waller, Ricky Waller and David Waller, and sisters: Gwendolyn Parker Dillon and husband W.A., and Joy Parker Mathis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services under the direction of Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home, Grand Prairie, Texas. Internment at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas
