A homemaker and former school teacher, she died Monday morning, March 23, 1998, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 90, a resident of Baton Rouge for 54 years and a native of Kosciusko, Miss. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 1 p.m. until religious services at 3 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Judith G. Roeling. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James O. and Betty S. Burt; a grandson, William E. Burt; and a granddaughter, Laurie A. Burt, all of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by husband of 52 years, Jim O. Burt. She was a member of Broadmoor Presbyterian Church.
