Gertrude Cecelia Kubowski-Przybylski, 86, formerly of 2222 Sims Avenue, Stevens Point, and 1111 Belaire Drive, Plover, and most recently a resident at Maple Ridge Memory Care in Plover, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 12th, 2014.

Born March 3rd, 1928 to August and Rose (Gburek) Kubowski, she was the only daughter. Her siblings were John, Alois, Herman and Edward Kubowski. She graduated from Green Meadow School of Mill Creek, Wisconsin.

Gertrude married Jerome John Przybylski on November 15th, 1947. She was the mother of seven children, Wayne (Carol), Larry, Daniel, Irene (Jim ) Lewis, Dorothy (Mark) Steuerwald, Val Przybylski (Ken Passon), and Marian (Roy) Contreras. She was grandmother to ten grandchildren, Luke, Noah, David, Laura, Aaron, Nate, Cole, Martina, Gabriel and Jonelle. She was great-grandmother to Benjamin, Atari, Daphni, Kai, Kean, Adalyn, Eli, Olivia, Bruce and another due in March.

Her faith and family were foremost in her life. She was a committed member of the Stevens Point Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, great cook, homemaker, kind hearted and generous, giving woman who will be deeply missed by family and friends. She enjoyed all of God's creation.

She will be remembered at a Celebration of Life on January 3rd, 2015 held at the Stevens Point Church of Christ, 1112 Sandy Lane in Stevens Point. Visitation will be at 11AM, with a service following at noon and luncheon served at 1PM. Turn North on Wildwood Drive by Fleet Farm, and left on Windy Drive.

Gertrude's family wishes to thank the MapleRidge Memory Care staff; and the Heartland Hospice staff who helped with her final days.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Alois and Edward, and by her son, Daniel, granddaughter, Laura Geisendorfer, and granddaughter-in-law, Amanda Lewis. Memorials will be directed to M.A.D.D.
