WITTER - Kevin K. Dennis, 53, of Witter, Ark., left us to be with his Lord Jesus peacefully in his sleep Tuesday morning, Aug. 2, 2011. He was born Dec. 10, 1957, at Huntsville, Ark., the son of Calvin D. and Jean Keck Dennis.
He was a carpenter, landscaper, respected musician and a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Dennis; paternal grandparents, Sidney and Arilda Cain Dennis; and his maternal grandparents, Lester and Clora Hooper Keck.
Survivors include his mother, Jean Keck Dennis of the home; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Rhonda Jameson of Palm Springs, Calif., Gina Charles and Renae and Travis Smith, all of Springdale, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Dylan West of Springdale, Ark.; three grandsons; one granddaughter; two nieces; one nephew; two great-nephews; one great-niece; and a cherished family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kevin brought a lot of happiness to people's lives. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 5, at Smith Chapel at Witter, Ark., with the Rev. Ray Main officiating. Interment will be in the Witter Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Keck, Don Corter, Marvin Boling, Mike Dennis, Travis Smith and Jerry Samuels. Honorary pallbearers will be J. C. Thoothman, Jackie Madewell, Danny High, Rodney Otis, Billy Bob Webb, Pete Brandenburg, Phillip Mangham, Dewayne Stephens, Carl Thomas, Robbie Clements, Joe McGetrick and Rusty Sullivan.
