Anna Alzada Moffitt was the daughter of John Andrew Moffitt and Isabell Ann Moffitt.

Anna married Edward Morrill Lewis on Jan. 26, 1905 at Lewiston, Idaho. They had Vernon Winifred & Mildred Emmaline Lewis.
Anna married Claude A George on Dec. 17, 1934 in Pomeroy, Washington.

Obit was located in the Lewiston Morning Tribune of Lewiston, Idaho on Nov. 12, 1974 on page 10A. Reads as follows:
"Former cafe operator Alzada George passs." Alzada A. George, 87, a retired businesswoman died of infirmties of age at Rest Haven nursing home Monday at 6:30 a.m.
She had lived in the Lewiston - Clarkston valley since 1901, most of those years at her home at 301 Poplar St., Clarkston. For a short time, between 1946 and 1947 and later in 1949, she operated the former Quick Lunch Cafe in the 700 block of Syeamore St. at Clarkston.
Her family moved to the valley soon after her birth in Missouri March 28, 1887, to Dr. John A and Isabella A Moffitt. In 1905, she married Edward Lewis at Lewiston. They were later divorced. She married Claude A George Dec. 17, 1934, at Dayton. He worked as a sawmill operator, logger and mill employe for Potlatch Corp. They also lived at Orofino for a short time where he operated a sawmill and she managed a hotel.
Her father was a Lewiston physician in the 1890s who brought his family from California, where the Moffitts lived briefly, to the valley by covered wagon.
Mrs George was a member of the Academy of Friendship of the Women of the Moose, the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiltary at Clarkston and the Advent Christian Church of Lewiston.
Survivors include a daughter Mildred Livingston of Lewiston, and five grandchildren. George died in 1969, and a son, Vernon Lewis, died in 1943.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Merchant Funeral Home with the Rev. Merle Wood of the Clarkston First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Normal Hill Cemetery."
