Services for Mrs. Lena Lewis Fontana, 73, of 9505 Palmetto Ln., Shreveport, 10 a.m. Thursday,, at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church with Rev. J. Robert Inzina, Pastor of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church officiating. A Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Southside Chapel. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.

She died Tuesday at Meadowpark Nursing Center after a long illness.

Mrs. Fontana was a native of Dubach, La., and had lived in Shreveport most of her life. She was a retired owner of a grocery store and a member of The St Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, St. Joseph Society for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Sam Fontana of Shreveport; two daughters Mrs. Phillip J. (Ester) Liberto of Shreveport, LA., Mrs. William Hess of Houston, TX.; two sons, D. J. Fontana of Nashville, Tn., Stanley Fontana of Springhill, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Papa, Mrs. Sam (Lil) Anzalone,, both of Shreveport; two brothers, Joe Lewis of Shreveport, Tony Lewis of Monroe,; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Moseley, David Fontana, Jeff Fontana, Gary Fontana, Steve Fontana, Eddie Biggs, Anthony Liberto, Richard Liberto, Jr.
