Margaret Ravan Skinner, 72, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away at 8:45 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at her home after a long illness.
Born in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, on Wednesday, October 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Theron R. and Bessie (Henson) Ravan. She was the wife of Hubert L. Skinner.
She was a homemaker and a member of Inman First Baptist Church and Faith Sunday School Class. She was a former member of the Inman Junior Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Sherry Skinner Emory and husband, Carol; one son, Roger B. Skinner and wife, Gail; three sisters, Annie Mae Martin, Ruth McMillian, Grace Comer; one brother, J.T. Ravan; four grandchildren, Brandy L. Emory, Clay Emory, Ginger A. Skinner, Brent Skinner.
She was predeceased by a sister, Pearl Ramsey and three brothers: Monroe, Earl and Paul Ravan.
Funeral Services were held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, South Carolina, on Thursday, January 17, 2002, with Dr. Donald Bishop and Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
