Annie Mae "MeMa" (Ravan) Martin, 91, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, South Carolina, after a year of declining health.
Born in Inman, on Sunday, May 2, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Theron R Ravan (1894-1987) and Bessie Effie (Henson) Ravan (1898-1983).
She retired from Lyman Printing and Finishing Company, Lyman, South Carolina.
She loved her Lord, family, and friends. Working in her yard was her pride and joy. She was an active member of Inman First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class and teacher of the Junior Dept for 20 years, had perfect attendance for 25 years, and was a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one daughter, Anita M. Fulbright (Bennie); two sons, Billy Martin (Diane) and Earl Martin (Mary Ellen); two sisters, Ruth McMillin and Grace Comer; one brother, J. T. Ravan; seven grandchildren, Dawn Robertson (Mark), Tim Martin, Todd Martin (Patsy), Angela Martin, Tammy Martin, Dr. Marty Fulbright, Cher Tauscher (Paul); and eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Pearl (Ravan) Ramsey and Margaret (Ravan) Skinner; three brothers, Monroe Ravan, Earl Ravan, and Paul Ravan; and one grandson, Sammy Martin.
Funeral services were held at Inman First Baptist Church at on Friday, November 3, 2006 with Rev. Donnan Lawson and Rev. Chuck Byrd officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions coul be made to Inman First Baptist Church Building Fund, Inman, South Carolina.
