"She was born July 24, 1926 to Joe Calvin Preas and Jessie Mae Long Preas in Coleman County, Texas. Doshie was a graduate of Coleman High School. On January 4, 1947, she married O. D. Cox, Jr. He preceded her in death in 1996. Prior to her retirement she had been a waitress at the Petroleum Club. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
