GALESBURG - Marion Tracy Bruington, 83, of 2286 Windish Drive, died at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2003, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

Born July 28, 1919, in Cameron to Charles E. and Gladys Nelson, she married Dale C. Tracy on Dec. 6, 1937, in Keokuk, Iowa. He died Jan. 31, 1972.

She later married James A. Bruington on Oct. 26, 1974, in Galesburg. He died June 14, 1986.

Surviving are one son, Rodney (and Sue) Tracy of Galesburg; two stepsons, Ted (and Barbara) of Gulf Shores, Ala., and Gary (and Alice) of Galesburg; two daughters, Connie (and Bill) Briggs of Rock Island and Terry (and Gary) King of Galesburg; one brother, Clark Mecum of Gainesville, Ga.; one sister, Charlene Anderson of Rochester, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.

She worked for the dentist Dr. C.A. Dayton for 18 years.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Galesburg.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hinchliff-PearsonWest Galesburg Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. James Ecklund will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
