Bill was one of 3 children born to William P. and Nannie (Fort) Allen at their ranch near Lovington, NM.
Bill's father died when he was 4; and Nannie remarried to my uncle, Dutch Elwin Edwards, Sr.
Nannie and Uncle Elwin had one son, Aubrey Eugene Edwerds, also born at the ranch and educated thru high school at Lovington.
Bill served in the US Army.
In 1940 he married Olma, a hometown girl. They lived at Lovington, NM until 2002 when they moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia to be with their daughter and family.
