DIED AT RIPE AGE.
Mrs. Betsy A. Harris, died September 15, 1911, of pernicious aenemia (anemia), at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Stuthard. She was born in Delaware County, Ohio in 1840, and was 71 years, 8 months and 9 days old at time of death.
Mrs. Harris was twice married. By the first marriage she was the mother of two children, both of whom are dead. By the second marriage ten children were born of whom four are still living.
She leaves two sons, two daughters and an only brother to mourn her departure.
The funeral service was conducted from the M. E. Church, at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. J. C. Chase officiating. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Those from out-of-town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Hattie Duffing of Baldwin, J. M. McClain of Temple, Mr. and Mrs. Don Harris of Bronson, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harris of Chicago and Miss Nina Dohm of Grand Rapids.
