Alfred V. Gosser, 86, West Somerset, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1993, at Midtown Care Home.

he was born in the Catherine community in Pulaski County, April 3, 1907, son of the late John Harrison and Nancy Roy Gosser. He was retired from the Allis-Chalmers Company and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, R.V. Gosser, Somerset; three brothers, Ernest, Amos, and A.M. Gosser, all of Pulaski County; two sisters, Zelma Gosser Emerson, Pulaski County, and Gene Gosser, Somerset; four grandchildren, Tamara Gosser Latham, Mark Gosser, Kendra Gosser Kelly, and Jo Rita Gosser; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline Garner Gosser, whom he married November 28, 1934, in Somerset; a son, J. B. Gosser; a brother, Elvern Gosser; and a granddaughter, Sherry Gosser.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with the Rev. S.L. Sears officiating.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Somerset Undertaking Company.
