Alice Louise (Hall) Jenkins, 78, died Saturday, November 29, 2003, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
A native of Inman, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Dean Hall (1887-1966) and Clara (Stone) Hall (1890-1964) and the wife of Carroll Henry Jenkins.
She was retired from Abbott Laboratories and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church of Inman, where she was the children's Sunday school teacher, past president of the WMS at Holston Creek, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, past president of the Peach Blossom Square Dance Club and a member of the Ladies and Gents Bowling Team.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Lorena Cushman, Robin Jones, Janice Hewitt; one stepdaughter, Tina Hudson; one stepson, Ted Jenkins; one sister, Lucille Abernathy; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2003, at Holston Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Reggie Parker and Donnan Lawson.
Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials were made to Holston Creek Baptist Church Building Fund or Mountain View Nursing Home.
