Anna's husband Robert was a traveling sewing machine salesman and he contracted typhoid fever from drinking contaminated water from a well. He came home and his wife and youngest son also contracted the disease. Anna and her young son died soon after her husband died (Anna died about July 1900). It is not known if Anna has a grave marker in the cemetery, but her husband does.
