Born in Adelshofen, Heilbronn, Baden-Wuerttenberg, Germany. Son of Hans Andreas Seitz

Married to Anna Catherine [Ripp/Rub/Rueb] on May 8, 1764. Shortly after their wedding, they set sail for America on the Ship Richmond and landed in Philadelphia on October 20, 1764.

10 children were born to Johannes and his wife, and if you go to the memorial for Catherine, his wife you will find the children listed.
