Hoover 49 & Nancy J Beeson 38 w/children: Samuel H 21, Alice A 19, Henry S 17, Albert C 11, Mary D 2, & Clara M 1m

Mr. Beeson moved w/his parents from IN to IL when he was 2 yrs old. When he was about 9 they moved to IA where he grew to manhood & lived until 1870. In that year he came to Barton County, MO & located on a farm south of Lamar. In 1881 he moved to this county, locating northeast of Cassville where he continued to live until he passed away.

21 Sep 1856 Mr. Beeson married Nancy Jane Jeffers. To them 8 children were born. Frank, John, & Mrs. Alice Hicks, have passed. The 5 living are: Sam, Henry, Albert, Mrs. Will Pasley & Mrs. Martie Ennis, all of whom live northeast of Cassville. Mr. Beeson & Mrs. Mattie J Hudson were married abt 7 yrs ago. His 2nd wife also preceded him.

Mr. Beeson was reared by Quaker parents & possessed many of the characteristic of that excellent people. His life was a splendid example of the man who lives an exalter Christian life. He was a kind husband, father & a good citizen.

Rev J W Ennis conducted the services w/his body laid to rest beside wife Nancy & daughter Alice in the cemetery at Mineral Springs.
