The funeral of Robert G. Abraham, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Abraham, was held and he was buried yesterday from the Christian church of which he was in life a member. He was 24 years of age and was indeed an exemplary young man, one who lived his faith. He was a fireman on the Frisco railway and his engine left the track, turned entirely over killing Robert, severely injuring the engineer who may die, and badly bruising the conductor who was on the engine. This accident occurred near Fayetteville, Arkansas, on September 29. His engineer says of him: He was a truly good young man, a real Christian. I roomed with him and no matter how tired and worn he might be when we came in from our run Robert always read his Bible and faithfully said his prayers. He had a clear view, a lively conscience as to his duty and sent his church and Endeavor dues regularly. The floral tributes were abundant and beautiful testifying the love of all who knew him. The funeral was quite largely attended, especially by his young friends.
