Abraham.
Mrs. Mary E. Abraham died at her home on West Central avenue, Monday, June 29 at 8 o'clock after an illness of three years.
Mary E. Pirkey was born November 27, 1853 in Virginia. She was a graduate of Knox college and subquently attended Vassar. She was married to R.J. Abraham in Illinois in 1873. They came to Kansas in 1893 and resided on a farm north east of El Dorado, the old George Parker place.
Mrs. Abraham leaves her husband, a daughter, Mary and four sons, Roy, Clair, David and Louis.
Funeral services will be held from the Christian church at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. F.J. Stinson. Burial in the West cemetery.
Mrs. Abraham was a good woman, a loving wife and mother and a true friend.
