Dr. Farrar delivered so many of us in the Manchester area and moms from miles away would drive to the clinic over today's Baker's Pharmacy where he brought us into the world with his midwife and nurse, his wife! In 1961, schools were closed for his funeral. His funeral was at First Methodist Church in Manchester on 15 Dec, 1961. The funeral was officiated by Revs. James Cox, W. Steele, J. Sweeney, C. Carter, H. Zepps. The pall bearers were Leon Medons, Dr. Dale Hunter, Dan Vance, Ben Laster, Elmer Johnson, John Laster, Carl Laster and Mr. Chapman.
Dr. Farrar was married to Delia Hamilton Farrar. His dad was Dr. C.M.H. Farrar and his mom was Sarah Alice Cunningham.
He was a gentle man.
