Henry married in 1910 Lula Kilgore, daughter of John Samuel Marion Kilgore and Nancy E. "Nannie" Kilgore. Henry died in 1913 near Scottsboro, Alabama. Lula was a widow on the 1920 census with two children, Eva 8, and A.C. 7, living in the household with Lula's parents. In 1920, Lula married George W. Jones and they had three sons.
Henry Huchins was a son of John W. and Lucy M. Daniel Hutchins who lived in Rutherford Co., TN. Henry's brother, Albert Hutchins, and some of his family members are also buried in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
