On Monday, October 3, 1955 there passed away in Minden village, in her 80th year, Amy Taylor wife of the late Henry Graham.
Mrs. Graham lived all her life in the vicinity of Minden and was a faithful church worker and a wonderful friend and neighbor.
The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. H.C. Vaclavik at Minden United Church, on Thursday afternoon.
The many friends and beautiful floral offerings bespoke the esteem in which she was held.
Left to mourn her loss are three sisters: Mrs. Francis Reis (Eva) of Nebraska; Mrs. Archie Taylor (Ada); and Mrs. James Brock (Estella) both of Lindsay; also many other relatives to whom she was very dear.
Three sisters and two brothers predeceased her.
Sympathy of the community goes out to the relatives of the late Mrs. Amy Graham, wife of the late Henry Graham. Mrs. Graham, who was a very highly respected citizen of the community, will be greatly missed by her many friends. She was a most faithful member of the United Church and of the W.M.S. of that church. Mrs. Graham had been in good health until she suffered a stroke a couple of weeks before her death.
