BRONTE - Daisy Dell Sims, 95, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, with her loving children at her side.

She retired from the Bronte ISD school cafeteria, where she served as a food service supervisor. She was always a cheerful person and never had an unkind word to say of anyone. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her son, D.W. Sims of Bronte; her daughter, Johnnie Luttrell and husband Tom of Odessa; her sister, Dorothy Williams of Abilene; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jerry W. Biddix of Winters and all of his staff; Dr. Charlesworth and all the staff of Shannon Clinic in San Angelo, VistaCare Hospice, their doctors and all personnel; along with all of her friends who have prayed and shown so much love. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
