ROSELLE, May 5 — Lawrence Shuster died last night at his home, 157 Third Ave East.
Born in Stanhope, Mr. Shuster resided in Roselle, Roselle Park & Garwood for the last 30 years, during which he was engaged in the grocery business. He was one of the founders of St. Joseph's and a member of the Holy Name Society of the church & of the Exempt Firemen's Association of Roselle Park.
Survivors are: His wife, Mrs. Sarah Kenny [Kinny] Shuster, three daughters, Mrs. Harry J. Eick, of Bound Brook; Miss Eva & Miss Ella Shuster, of Rosellel two sons, Lawrence Shuster, Jr. of Roselle & Thomas J. Shuster, of Elizabeth; five grandchildren, five brothers, Leo & William Shuster, of Roselle Park; George Shuster, of Elizabeth, Samuel Shuster, of Townley, Union & John Shuster, of Newark; one sister, Mrs. Eva Reynolds, of Netcong.

Funeral of Lawrence Shuster. Special to the Journal
ROSELLE, May 9 — Funeral services for Lawrence Shuster were held Saturday morning at 9.30 o'clock from the late home, 157 Third avenue, east, and at 10 o'clock from St. Joseph's Church, where a high mass of requiem was celebrated. Rev. Edward Murphy was celebrant, with Rev. Richard O'Brien as deacon. and Rev. John McManus as sub-deacon. The services were largely attended by friends and relatives. There were many floral tributes.
Interment was made in the family plot. Bearers were the following six nephews: George, Lawrence, Leo and Edgar Shuster; Leo and Paul Kenney [Kinney].
