Arlie Washington Bandy was born August 10th, 1887 in Allison, Iowa. Son of Lewellen and Mary Bandy. Arlie married Eva Carberry and for many years was employed as a car foreman by the Illinois Central Railroad. He was employed in the shipping department of the Maizewood Insulation Co. since it's founding. He was a member of the Mill Workers Union, Local 1646.
Arlie died at the age of 62, in 1949 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA of a heart attack. At the time of death, he lived at 372 Southern Ave., Dubuque, IA. Arlie is buried in Dumont, IA.

Harris and Mrs. Ben Wildeboer, both of Chicago; and one brother, William Bandy of Los Angeles.
Preceded in death by three brothers, one of whom died in January, O. W. Bandy and two sisters.
