Mallie Lincoln Dotson, 77, of Osage, died January 2 at his home. Born May 20, 1893 in Madison County, he was the son of James and Rachel Ann Dotson. He was united in marriage to Lizzie Burgess and to this union three children were born. His wife preceded him in death in 1962.
Mr. Dotson had professed his hope in Christ and had been baptised.
Survivors include one son, Vernon Dotson of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Vercie Austin of Pateros, Wash. and Mrs. Veda Graber of Carlsbad, Calif.; two brothers, Henry Dotson of Richmond, Calif. and Monroe Dotson of Fayetteville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 7 at the Wharton Creek Church with Rev. Maurice Steele officiating. Interment was in the Wharton Creek Cemetery under direction of the Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville.
