"Mrs. Lena Myrle Clevenger, 83 years young passed away in Wichita Falls on Saturday, January 9, 2010. Lena was born in Coleman County on June 5, 1926 to the late Robert Coleman "RC" Smith and Delinda Jane Fulcher. She married Haskell Ernest Clevenger in Coleman on May 19, 1945 and they shared 61 together. Mrs. Clevenger was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and the Program Coordinator for Head Start with Central Texas Opportunities.

"Survivors include a daughter; Lorna Clevenger of Texas, 2 sons and daughters in law; Fred & Judith Clevenger of Kissimme, Florida, and Gary & Pennie Clevenger of Wichita Falls, a sister and brother in law; Joyce & Jacky Mobley of San Marcos, 4 grandchildren; Tanya Clevenger and Lena Clevenger both of Florida, Amanda Clevenger and Travis Clevenger both of Wichita Falls.

"A Memorial Service will be Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00 A. M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Dick Schultz officiating, Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 6 until 7:00 P. M. at Walker Funeral Home. Private Interment will be Wednesday January 13, 2010 at the Brown Ranch Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home.

"In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Extension Homemakers or Emmanuel Baptist Church or the Coleman Senior Citizens Center."
