Josie Olive (Davis) Myers was born Aug 23, 1887 near Red Cloud, Nebr and passed away Jan 8, 1969 in the Yuma Hospital, Yuma, Colo. after a long illness

She was married to Fred A. Myers on March 17, 1909 on Mr Myers' parents wedding anniversary.

The couple went to Greeley County, Kans., in a covered wagon to homestead. In 1914, they moved to Colorado and lived on a ranch south of Yuma. Here they raised a close and happy family where they all participated in community and church activities.

Mrs. Myers was an active member of the Bethany County Church and taught a Sunday School class for years. They retired from the farm 20 years ago and moved to their present home in Yuma.
