He served as a Private First Class in the 428 Army Air Force Base Unit in the United States Army. He was Honorably Discharged from Fort Dix in New Jersey on the 27th of Aug 1946.
Calvin was a member of the Saint Mathews Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts from Nov. 1951 until he died in March 1958.
