Phoebe was a housewife, a widow of Albert Kingsbury Jarvis and had only 4 children. Formerly of Somerville, Massachusetts and she lived there for about 30 years.
Phoebe, known as Ma or Tickle to everyone, and her grandkids called her Gimmie. She was an avid Bingo player. She also loved to travel, cook, play cards, knit, crochet and played the organ. She would sew, knit or crochet handmade doll dress outfits and dress little to big dolls. She also made clothes for her children and grandchildren and loved to knit us mittens for winter time.

JARVIS- Of Malden, April 1, Phoebe (Hatch). Wife of the late Albert. Beloved mother of Mrs. George (Carole) Beal of Plymouth, N.H., June Broussard of Ashland, N.H., Mrs. Charles (Margaret) McWilliams of Chilton, N.H. and Albert Jarvis Jr. of Medford. Sister of Harriett DeVlaminck, Marion Walden both of Malden, Horace Hatch of Epping, N.H., Robert Hatch of Medford, Emma Rousse and Ruth Hatch both of Michigan, also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services Friday at 10 at E.E. Burns & Son Funeral Home, 204 Main St., MALDEN. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4, 7 -9.
