Jerry M. Cook, pioneer resident of the Beaver Dam section, died at the home at Sugar Grove, last Friday, from a lingering illness.
Funeral services were conducted at the Bethe Baptist Church Sunday at 2 o'clock. Reverend Robert Shore and Dr. Wiley Smith conducted the services and interment was in the church cemetery, Reins-Sturdivant taking care of the details.
Mr. Cooke is survived by two sons, three daughters, one brother and one sister.
