Kenneth Baker Hundley was born in Shelby Co., KY to the late Guy Hundley and Mary Kathryn Hundley (Hawkins)

Kenneth attended the University of Kentucky in the 40's and graduated in the 1950's.

After graduation from U of K, he taught World War II veterans, distributed on Farm Training under the G.I. Bill. He taught the groups for 2 years. He also taught World War II veterans in Henry Co., KY for a while.

Kenneth's philosophy was that the World War II veterans and all others of that time of era were the reason that America was still free and hopefully be free in the generations to come. Those veterans that returned from World War II were very lucky. The ones that did not return would always be remembered for their sacrifice to help keep America free. (Noble Hundley, his uncle, was lost during WWII in October 1944.)

After the Farm Training Classes of World War II were finished, Kenneth taught vocational Agriculture for about two years in Carroll Co., KY.

Kenneth was hired by Southern States Cooperation in 1956. They located Kenneth to Madisonville, KY. He worked for the company until 1986 when he retired. He was an avid UK fan, and a Kentucky Colonel.

Kenneth then worked for the R.G. Applegate Steel Co., from 1986 to 1996.

Kenneth was always engaged in farming and agricultural work. He managed his farming operations until 2010. In 2010, Kenneth sold his last farm.

Kenneth is survived by his lovely wife, Willean. They were married for 61 years.

Kenneth and Willean had three children, Mary Kathryn (David) Bowles, Kenneth B. (Susan) Hundley II and Donald Wayne (Jayne) Hundley all of Madisonville; eight grandchildren, Melanie (Drew) Mays, Jason McKinney, Amy (Jeff) Shipp, Micah Hundley, Hannah Hundley, William Hundley, David Hundley, and Mary Lesley Hundley all of Madisonville; and seven great grandchildren.
