Aaron was a Blacksmith in Company "M", Fifth Regiment of Illinois Calvery, under the comand of Captin Alex S. Jessop.Aaron died during the Civil War, at the Battle of Vicksburg.He was not killed on the Battlefied, but his cause of death was due to Flux.
Aaron enrolled on the 22 day of November, in 1861 and was mustered into service as a Blacksmith on the 8th day of December 1881. Aaron died on the 5 day of August in 1864.
Aaron married Rebbecca Brinker on the 19th day of November, 1850. they had eight children together.
