Ray W. Ragsdale, Hezekiah Ragsdale: His Roots and Branches, (© 1981 Privately Published, Evansville, IN), p 27, "Presumably Hezekiah was buried in the Bethel Church Cemetery in Veale Township. This writer has stood in that sacred place and surveyed a long row of unmarked graves at the end of which is a monument commemorating the life and death of Mary Ragsdale Allison. She was buried there in 1869. On either side of her are two other stones -- one for her husband Joseph, and the other for her youngest sister, Malina Ragsdale Glezen."
