This writer has stood in that sacred place and surveyed a long row of unmarked graves at the end of which is a monument commemorating the life and death of Mary Ragsdale Allison. She was buried there in 1869. On either side of her are two other stones -- one for her husband Joseph, and the other for her youngest sister, Malina Ragsdale Glezen."
