Miss Anna Dwigans, 84, Dies in East

Miss Anna Dwigans, 84, former resident of Shellsburg, died Wednesday morning at Norfolk, Va., where she had been lived the last three years with a niece, Mrs. E. I. Dillard.

Miss Dwigans was born Sept. 23, 1869, at Shellsburg. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Roseman Dwigans. She lived in Shellsburg until going to Norfolk, three years ago. She was a member of the Federated church and White Lily chapter OES.

Surviving besides her niece are three nephews, G. E. Ortman and Frank Ortman of Cotter, Ark., and G. M. Ortman of Cotter, Ark.

The body will be brought to the Fry-Holland funeral home in Vinton Saturday morning. Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 in the Federated church in Shellsburg. Rev. L. V. Fardon will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery in Shellsburg.
