His death certificate says he was buried at Bridgeport. I'm not sure if that would be Bridgeport East or West, but as East seems to have the older section, I have tried it there. If you have any additional information, please let me know and I will be happy to make any additions or corrections.

In 1857 a Joseph Bartlett was witness to Elijah Carr's 1857 deed to William Davis.

From the files of Debbie Davis Lovejoy:
Served in the military service of the Confederate States during the war between the States of the United States and he did not desert the Confederate Service. He went by the name of JL. His pension number was 34119. When he was enlisted he lived as Coalville, Tennessee Sept. 1863. He served in the Co. C, 8th Tennessee Calvary, CSA. He died from cancer in the stomach. He died at his own home.
