Mrs. Phillips, 88, Dies This Morning
Mrs. Helen Sarah Phillips, 88, died at 9:15 a.m. today in Thurmon's Convalescent Home.
She lived at 306 Bonita, in Pleasant Valley.
Mrs. Phillips had been a resident of Amarillo since 1953. She was born June 30, 1870, in Tennessee.
Surviving are three sons, Clyde Phillips, Lloyd Phillips and Joe R. Phillips, all of Amarillo; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Williams and Mrs. Jessie Manross, both of Perryton; a brother, Phillip Bartlett of Wellington; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements for funeral services will be announced by N.S. Griggs and Sons.
