Services Thurs. for Garold Hudson, 68
Garold Shelman Hudson, age 68, of New Centerville, died Sept. 15, at the Baldwin Hospital.
He was born June 9, 1918 in New Centerville, the son of William and Ethel Hudson.
Garold was united in marriage to Marlys Metcalf on Nov. 1, 1941 in Hudson. Garold and Marlys had 5 sons and 4 daughters.
Garold was a member of the New Centerville United Methodist Church.
Proceeding him in death were his parents and six brothers and one sister.
Garold is survived by his wife; sons: Ralph and is wife, Robin of Texas; Leslie and his wife, Kazue, of River Falls; Clifford of Spring Valley; Merwin, and his wife, Jackye, of Spring Valley; Dale, and his wife, Jule of Emerald. Daughters: Mrs. Neal (Gloria) Williams of St. Paul; Mrs. William (Marlene) Finke of River Falls; Patricia Hills of New Richmond; Mrs. Richard (Diane) Blodgett of Ojibwa, WI. Also by two sisters, Amy Rasmussen of Carson, California; Luda Hall of Baldwin; and one brother, Henry of Baldwin Care Center. Also by 28 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Dull Funeral Home of Baldwin on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 with funeral services taking place Thursday, September 18, 2:00 p.m., at the New Centerville United Methodist church, Rev. Janet Ellinger officiating, with interment in the Mount Olivet Cemetery of New Centerville.
