Ms. Smith was a native of Liberty and was a homemaker. She was a member of Millcreek Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Survivors include a son, Pascal ''Butch'' Mitchell of Picayune; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A service will be at noon Thursday at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, where friends may call two hours before service time. Burial will be in Sones Chapel Cemetery in McNiel.
